Microneedling

The microneedling procedure uses small needles to prick the skin. This allows the skin to create new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Also known as collagen induction therapy, this treatment may help those looking to reduce the appearance of acne scars.

Performed in our Med Spa, microneedling is most effective in treating minor scarring related to acne, wounds, uneven skin tone and aging. You’ll likely notice brighter, firmer skin, too. The ideal results are achieved after multiple sessions. Physician directed microneedling is far more effective and safer than at-home rollers.

PRP Microneedling

Platelet Rich Plasma is relatively simple to obtain. In our office, in about 30 minutes, we can draw a little blood and spin it in a centrifuge  to separate the platelets and produce a highly-concentrated plasma. Your PRP is then injected into the area of skin being treated to release growth factors that recruit and increase healing cells.

Please contact Dr. Deidra Blanks for a complementary consultation to see if this is right for you.
