You may need to make an appointment with our physician if you are having any of the following:
- Recurrent of persistent colds, cough
- Frequent sneezing, stuffy or runny nose
- Recurrent or chronic sinus infection
- Itchy, water, red eyes
- Recurrent or persistent sore/swollen throat
- Nasal drainage
- Recurrent upper respiratory tract symptoms
- Recurrent ear infections
Our physicians will be glad to refer you to our allergy clinic if you are having ENT allergies. We use methods that are time proven to not only identify specific allergens, but also to achieve control of allergies quickly and effectively.
Testing typically takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to perform. It will consist of minute injections of the most common allergic inhalants. Reactions to the relatively painless injections are then measured and recorded for your physician to review.
Treatment consists of a series of injections of diluted allergens, or serum. Over time, progressively greater concentrations of the serum are administered in order to strengthen your immune system's resistance. Most patients see improvement in 3 to 6 months.
Give us a call and ask for our allergy department to discuss your allergy symptoms or make an appointment to see our physician. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
